I am Kathleen Hoare, the Wellbeing Social Worker at Thuringowa State High School. I attend the high school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I also work at Weir State School on my other workdays. I provide support for students relating to early intervention, which includes mild to moderate mental health, engagement, transition, peer, and/or academic difficulties and extend support to families (or carers) to optimise the educational outcomes for students.
